Turning Six, and Quitting Smoking

Yikes, it has been a while since I've wrote on here.  Let's see where to start. I quit smoking about a week into the term. I have only really craved a cig a few times since quitting about month and a half ago.  It was getting to the point I was basically vomiting every time I even smoked half a cigarette. It was time to quit. It's funny how quitting something which is bad for your overall health can make everything seem so much harder.  The smallest things agitated me it seemed like.
In other news, my Moon Face girl turned 6 years old recently. She had a HUGE birthday party. The house was crawling with kids. That day we had family over I have never met and Michelle even had the opportunity to meet some cousins she had never met.  This past weekend, we went to her cousin's birthday party. I'm thankful she is getting to know that she comes from a big family on my father's side.

Memorable gifts included: an awesome wire frame that our friend Justen made for Michelle that says "Happy Birthday Michelle".  He recently ventured off to Canada and we've been missing him since he left so it's great to have something he made just hanging above the desk to remind us of him. Other things included sweet handmade gifts from her school friends, lovely princess  puzzles from her cousins, and she got her first real bicycle with training wheels and a new helmet. I think she may have liked the helmet more than her bicycle looking at this photo. Can't say I blame her though, it's fit for a princess.

Other than her turning six years old, things have been rather uneventful around here.  I have been keeping busy, with school.  I was completely freaking out until about a few days ago  when I found out I actually am not only passing meteorology, I have a B. I have an A in First Aid currently.  I still need to work on bringing up my grade for my Human Genetics class. My classes are fascinating.  I find myself so intrigued, but completely drained most days still. That I can recollect I have one project in Meteorology of cloud seeding and weather warfare.  I'm really excited about this. I recall hearing about it a while back on Coast to Coast before taking this class.  I didn't really believe it when I was hearing it on Coast to Coast at the time. Come to find out, it's true that there are ways of manipulating the weather now. In my writing class, I have a research essay I'm in midst of writing on why children don't play outside as much anymore. I'll be putting tidbits about ecopsychology in there, and a bit about  this things called Nature Deficit Disorder. Feel free to look it up. It's very fascinating. I NEED to start researching for my paper I need to write in my Genetics class. I honestly don't even know when it's due. I've been very stressed about my second exam coming up at the moment.

As great as all of my classes are,  I'm getting drained. I need to get out of the house and do something.  I sort of want to have a stick fight with my guy in the woods.  I don't think he'd be up for it though.  -sighs- I'm missing warmer weather. I'm missing having fun  too. I hate being cooped up inside with nothing to do but watch my guy play video games and watch netflix once in a while.  The only thing I really tend to enjoy is Coast to Coast anymore.  Anyways, my boyfriend is giving me a strange look so I should get going. Besides, moon face's soup is ready for her to eat.

Be Well.
